Little private chalet in the 5* Les Granges d’en Haut complex (free spa access). Incredible views of Mont Blanc from the open plan living room with balcony. Ten minute walk to ski lifts and restaurants in Les Houches. Fully equipped kitchen with top of the line appliances. Projector for movie nights. It's a little bit of luxury in the heart of the mountains, with adventures right on your doorstep in all directions. One incredibly peaceful, quiet master bedroom with a king-size bed. One mezzanine "guest" bed (queen-size). Good for kids and the adventurous, but be warned it's only accessible by a small climbing wall, so not suitable for little ones. See photos. One vaulted living and dining room, with a small balcony (fits two for dinner) and an incredible view of Mont Blanc. The sofa in the living room folds out into a queen-size bed, and a projector folds from the ceiling, so you can have movie nights here. If you fall asleep there you'll wake up to the sun hitting the top of Mont Blanc at your feet. A small but very well-equipped kitchen opens onto the living/dining room. One bathroom with a washing machine and wet-room style shower, with a separate toilet. Covered parking, separate ski locker (coming soon - doors not yet complete, so rentals and the well-insured only until it's done!) and good indoor storage. We're part of the Granges d'en Haut complex, with the best spa in town and a high-end restaurant. As residents of the Nest, you get complimentary access to the pool/sauna/spa. We recommend making a free reservation well in advance, as numbers are limited to keep it peaceful and make sure there's always space in the hot tub looking out across the mountains. It's a fabulous place to stay for mountain adventures, summer or winter. Last winter, the french downhill ski team stayed in the complex during their races, to take advantage of the location and the excellent spa facilities, and during the summer the UTMB heads across the mountain just above us.

We had a delightful stay at the 'Nest' over the Easter holidays! The accommodation is incredibly charming, boasting amazing views. Access to the spa was an additional bonus. Host Toby's responses were very prompt. I would highly recommend this property for a stay. A couple of suggestions for improvement would be to upgrade to a faster internet connection and to add a bit more lighting to the kitchen and living room. Thank you!
Toby & Cat were extremely generous and welcoming. Their Place is unlike anything one can find. It is the original chalet that later became a glamorous 5 star resort. The view alone is worth any money because there are very few such unique locations. We were very happy to use Spa and all the other amenities of resorts as that is one of the privileges that Toby & Cat share with their guest. Hot tub on the foot steps of Mont Blanc with views that go as far as Argentiere's summits, this is something that you only expect to find in the books or movies. The chalet itself is very intimate with lots of style and its own character. You can spend hours on the balcony alone surrounded by the sounds of the valley and beyond as far as the eyes can see subject to the ever changing weather that literally flows trough the valley as mighty river of clouds, snow storms, spring showers and bright Alpine sun. Thank You Toby & Cat for sharing such a rare experience!
Nous avons passé une semaine merveilleuse dans ce Chalet avec la vue incroyable sur le Mont Blanc qu’il propose, son mobilier haut-de-gamme, et la qualité de la résidence où il se situe ! Mais il faut ajouter à cela la qualité exceptionnelle de l’accueil de Toby et Cat, toutes les petites attentions, toutes les bonnes choses qu’ils mettent à disposition des visiteurs, le guide très pratique qu’ils proposent avant même l’arrivée pour pouvoir planifier le séjour, et la grande gentillesse de leur communication tout au long du séjour, nous vous remercions beaucoup pour tout cela ! Nous espérons pouvoir revenir dans ce lieu qui nous laisse de merveilleux souvenirs et des photos incroyables du Mont blanc depuis le balcon, unique !
This is one of the best places you can find in the Chamonix area. Amazing host, and beautiful views. Highly recommended for the romantic occasions.

There are buses that leave from Prarion, and Les Houches skiing and restaurants are ten minutes walk away, so if you're either planning on skiing solely in Les Houches, or you're looking for a more relaxed trip, you can take a shuttle from the airport to our door (we recommend "Alpybus" or "Mountain Transfers") and rely on public transport throughout your stay. However, Chamonix is essentially a collection of small resorts that run the length of the valley, giving you access to a wide variety of skiing, so if you'd like to be able to access all of them, a car is recommended. Rentals from Geneva airport are reasonably priced and straightforward if you're arriving by plane. There is covered, private parking provided onsite for your use.
