Prefect house for a quiet getaway from the city. Everything as described in the listing. Quite easy to get to and about 1 hour drive from Tikal.

Nina and Victor were great hosts and very helpful. We only stayed one night but we had a great time. The house is in a beautiful location on the lake, very private and peaceful. You can hear the howler monkeys and birds. The hammocks and the pier on the lake was great. Our kids loved jumping from the pier and swimming. The rooms and the house was very comfortable too. The internet speed was good. We highly recommend Nina's place to get away and relax and enjoy Lake Peten.

This was the best place we stayed in our 4 week trip around Central America. The house is beautiful, very clean and the finishing touches really make it a comfortable, modern space to relax. The private jetty and hammocks are great for resting on the beautiful lake. We really appreciated the little extras like bug spray and basic cooking provisions such as salt and oil. The setting is gorgeous and we even saw a toucan on the balcony one morning! Nina and Vincent are excellent hosts, they are extremely fast to respond, always gave great information and never made me feel like I was asking too many questions. Their help from booking to checking out added to the brilliant time we had here. Having your own transport would be helpful, but not essential. It was a fab place to base ourselves for visiting Tikal and we really didn’t want to leave!

Eine traumhaft schöne Unterkunft abseits der Touristen Hotspots. Die Unterkunft ist ca. 1 Stunde Fahrt mit dem Auto vom Flughafen in Flores entfernt, aber die Fahrt lohnt sich! Die Villa ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bietet 3 Bade- und 2 Schlafzimmer. Das Highlight ist aber sicherlich der private Steg mit den Hängematten im See. Wir haben unsere Zeit sehr genossen, auch bei der Ausstattung fehlte es im Grunde an nichts. Die Sauberkeit war sehr gut, der Kontakt mit Nina und Victor war hervorragend! Wir können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

I really liked the adaptations they made to the house, very comfortable, and every detail was thought about the comfort of the guest, to get to the lake that is in front of the house, there are steps, I mention it in case someone is going with elderly people, For everything else, Nina and her team were top in attention.😎
