Stitches Farm House is a distinctive secluded Victorian home in East Sussex - uniquely situated within the High Weald AONB, surrounded by bucolic rolling fields, ancient woodland, and the historic Eridge Park (the oldest deer park in England). Stitches enjoys unspoilt far-reaching views across the valley due to its unique elevated position, and benefits from glorious walks and views taking in farmland, woodland, lakes, streams and herds of roe deer who roam the fields and woods. The house sits within just under an acre of natural landscaped gardens with wildflower meadows, apple orchard, south-facing terrace, separate garage/studio, and stables with separate entrance. The garden also has a tree swing and a 5-metre trampoline, which is as much for the adults as it is for the children! The ground floor features spacious open plan living, and benefits from an abundance of natural light thanks to multiple aspect windows and French doors. At its heart is a large kitchen-dining space that flows through to a large sitting room with a feature bay window presenting views over the fields and valley. To the rear of the house is a walk-in pantry/utility room, playroom with children’s toys and games and a piano, plus a boot room leading to the gardens and outdoor social areas. The first floor has four bedrooms - including a very large master bedroom with double aspect windows presenting far-reaching views across the valley - one bathroom and one shower room, positioned off the central landing. Plus, as we’re obsessive editors, furniture is constantly moving around the house, so don’t be surprised if rooms like slightly different.
