If you want an authentic experience of Dar Es Salaam stay with Hassan!! So let me start by sayin that Hassan and his bro Rabin they are cool guys. They make a big effort to ensure that you feel welcome, comfortable and can answer most of the questions that you have. They came to the airport to pick me up, that was a cool and helpful gesture and they treated me like family from the jump and we naturally vibed well. Its not so common to find hosts like that on Airbnb. The apartment is cool and the location is really good. Its even got a PS4 😂 im definitely gonna return here. The local people dont speak a lot of English and at first that feels intimidating but they are good people and they try their most to make u feel welcome. + we went to the Yanga vs Sundowns game that was a Wild experience forreal 😂. And if I stayed longer we would have made some more memories forsure. So I say again if you want a cool authentic experience you stay with Hassan no doubt!!!

This was my worst experience on Airbnb . The host did not reply to my messages until last minute to say that his place was occupied by another client who had extended their stay. He then referred me to another host who asked me to pay more money, mind you this was late into the night. I wasn't happy with that arrangement, I got stranded and had to get an alternative accommodation late at night. The host should have communicated well in advance so that I get time to explore my options but he chose to wait until the last minute. The host should unlist his place on Airbnb when the previous guest decides to extend. That was unprofessional, you can do better

Hassan was a wonderful host and pretty responsive. He went out of his way to make sure the stay was worthwhile. I would totally recommend!
