Disappointing stay. We contacted the host to check cleanliness before booking after previous reviews and were assured it had been fully cleaned. We arrived to a house that was not clean and not reflective of the photos. The house did not feel finished, particularly upstairs - no handles on windows etc. We contacted the host immediately about cleanliness and sent photos however they have not bothered to contact us even after stating they would. There was a discrepancy in check out time and no contact made day prior which could have avoided the issue. Ridiculous that we had to drive to Scarborough to drop keys.

Grounds and garden need tidying up, we have small children and some parts of the yard are unsafe. Not happy that I had to drive a 40min round trip to collect keys and the same to return them. House could be cleaner, particularly the kitchen and its contents. Overall a nice place but for the money I would expect a the above to be addressed.

It is a big and spacious house and perfect for us. The kids loved all the toys, the swing as well as the cubby house that was outside. House is very cleaning and modern, I think what I loved the most was there were extra little things like spear hats, swimming towels that you will need for kids. Also the patio outside was great to sit and relax. The house is a block away from the water. Also, the local swimming pools were just down the road and it’s not far from the main square in Sandgate. Will be coming here again. 😊
