The house appears to be a fix and flip, there were certain areas like the back bathroom that were very nice and clearly new. Other parts of the house were left exactly like the previous owner left them. The kitchen and bathroom cupboards were stocked with left behinds, family photos on the refrigerator, expired food in the fridge. It just felt weird like we walked into an occupied house by mistake. The floors were not clean, the bathroom had hair all over, the bed sheets had holes in them, the bed wasn't comfortable. I messaged the host and he had a very no care attitude about it all. Clearly he's sellling and will delete the listing soon and this review will be gone forever, so who cares. Quite unimpressed overall with the stay.

Door code did not work upon arrival. Could not get a hold of host. Host then said he had wrong dates rental was not cleaned from previous guest. There was not any hand soap, toilet paper, or paper towels. Beds were stripped, had to wash sheets and towels. He offered to send cleaning crew. We said we’d do it ourselves, but who wants to go on vacation to clean? He sent someone over with paper towels and hand soap. Barely got by on toilet paper. Then messaged us requesting our check out time because he had a scheduled viewing since house was for sale, it did have for sale sign in front. There was stuff personal in the home as if people lived there. Not a good experience at all. Stayed because rental was non refundable.

Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to walk our dogs through the nearby community college grounds. Homeowner was very accommodating with our schedule!
