Anne’s house was exactly as described! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! It’s hard to find such kid friendly Air BnB’s pretty much anywhere you go and hers exceeded our expectations. Our kids felt right at home and loved all of the toys and kid friendly amenities like bathroom stool, the beds, etc. The house was super clean and had everything you could possibly need during your stay. It truly did feel like home away from home. The only negative thing I could say about this location is that within 5 minutes of being parked in the driveway and inside the house, there were 3 neighbor kids on top of the hood of our car. Nothing the host can control, but definitely recommend parking in the street! We had a wonderful stay and Anne was immediately responsive. Thanks so much Anne! If we’re ever back this way, we’ll definitely stay again.
The 2 bedroom room was awakened at 530 with loud music next door. We thankful for the back parking. We couldnt access front parking due to tightness of other cars. Smaller car would probably be ok.
Irvington is an eccentric and historic Indianapolis neighborhood. Irvington is the largest protected historic district in Indianapolis, and The National Register of Historic Places and the Indianapolis Historic Preservation Commission recognize the neighborhood. It spans over 500 acres of historically significant buildings. The majority of the homes in Irvington proper were built in the early twentieth century, ranging from the late 1800s to the 1940s. The district is named after Washington Irving, the author of “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow.” This spooky namesake is often featured during the annual Irvington Halloween Festival. It is a quick drive down Washington St. into downtown Indianapolis.
There is plenty of parking - a driveway, a back pad in the alley, and lots of free parking on the street. The home is a quick 10-15 minute drive straight east into downtown Indianapolis. The home is also conveniently located to I-70 and 465 for access to other parts of the city.
