Dante’s place was just as described, very well taken care of property! We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful our stay was! This is also a great place to stay if you still want an easy drive between the city of Lancaster and all the activities available at Hocking Hills. Thank you Dante!

Dante's Sugar Shack was incredible and I cannot recommend this place strongly enough. I booked it to propose to my now fiance and the charm of this place made it such a special stay. The trails on the property were fun and super well maintained, with some really awesome rock formations to explore. Dante nails all of the finer details on this property, with high-quality furniture, beautiful views, multiple bird feeders which attracted tons of cool birds, a stocked pond, and a squeaky clean hot tub. There is even a garage door on the side of the unit that opens up to the tub/fireplace area to let in plenty of natural light and fresh air (and it has a big magnetic screen to keep critters out). The unit itself is comfy, modern, and well appointed while also providing a perfect setting to enjoy some natural beauty. Besides the unit, Dante was very communicative, responsive, and flexible as a host. Would love to come back for another romantic getaway or small group trip!

Great place tucked in the woods and hills but still 15 min away from anything. Logan, Lancaster, Hocking Hills. Clean, beautiful forestry and trails on property. Modern lighting inside and out. Tranquil lake to wake up and drink tea on the deck/dock. The dogs loved the small woodland creatures to chase. Bed are up in the loft. Safe in all hours of the night. Dante is very details and descriptive of his property. Thank you Dante!

It was a very middle of nowhere, modern home that was perfect for what we were looking for. It was clean and homey and ZERO cell service. The WiFi worked great and the pond was ready for fishing! Make sure you bring your own pole! Would recommend and hold stay at again! Thank you!
