My second stay at Tom’s place. I highly recommend it. Lots of space, very comfortable beds, great private bathroom connecting the two bedrooms. Interesting decorations and furnishings. Couldn’t enjoy the pool due to cold weather, but the backyard space is very nice.

There were pros & cons to this stay. I’ll try to equally represent both as to show fairness. 1 hr to our arrival, our accommodations were switched from the original booking to the basement within the home. Host was apologetic when messaging to tell me they were going out of town hence the reason for the switch. I was “OK” with it as I was traveling with my two sons however, the new location was down fairly steep outdoor steps with loose cobblestones. My real issue was how dirty the place was. While things were “tidy” to the eye (bed made, free of clutter & homey furnishings) the place smelled SO BAD! It smelled dirty,old, musty, & of mildew- I can assume because it was a basement. I could have gotten passed that but it was OBVIOUS sheets had not been changed! There was a LIVE BUG in the bed, lots of hair on both bed & toilet, crusty food in kitchen sink, microwave, counters & fridge, at least 1” of dust on everything, dead bugs, food & dust on floor. Host refunded my money & I cleaned!
