Staying at Shakeel's home was great. Shakeel was responsive and great guest. He answered all my questions and concerns. Nice kitchen with dryer and washer. Bed with couch in the bedroom area. And bathroom that was very nice. No noise from upstairs; I only stayed one night and I would reserve a room again in the future.

On one side of the house is a park at stone throw distance. That same side is a mall consisting of Giant Food, salon, restaurants, and stores. On the other side, at the end of the street is a bus stop and community center with swimming poll and gym.
At the end of the street is Metro bus stop. Metro buses go to Shady Grove metro train station.
You can also park your car in Shady Grove metro train station and take train to Washington DC.
