I spent a big week in this accommodation and really enjoyed my stay. It is nicely located near Liberty park and at a reasonable distance from the University of Utah (45-30min by transport to the terminus stop, line 9, bus waiting time included). A big grocery place (Smith's) is nearby. The kitchen is well equipped with kitchenware and cooking basics (oil, salt, pepper, herbs and spices). The bathroom is nice and well equipped too (towels, soap, shampoo and more). The bedroom/living room is nice and comfortable, and the big TV with all streaming services accessible is appreciable. The house as a whole is a bit old, there is a few details here and there that remind it, but it is well arranged and charming. I made very little use of the heating system (April stay) but it look to be decently efficient. Communication with Kevin was good and fast.

I stayed at Kevin's place for 8 nights. The unit was as-described; fast WiFi, notably comfortable bed, free in-building laundry, ample street parking, and top tier cozy-ness. Kevin is a great, responsive host. There were some things that were not ideal about the unit: 1. Door to the unit has frosted windows allowing light and sound in when guests in other units enter/exit. Automatic light stays on for ~20 min after arrival. Quite a disturbance. 2. The door codes work on other units. When looking for the laundry room, my door code successfully opened another unit. Huge privacy and safety concern. 3. The dishes were clearly dirty / had stuck-on food so they had to be washed before use. Location was solid; 30 min walk to DT and 40 min drive to skiing. A few houses on the block are abandoned and homeless are walking around. No issues during my stay, just something to be aware of. Overall, I would stay at this unit again if looking for a 1-2p budget-friendly option in SLC.

I had a nice stay at Kevin's — a great location near the park, and very easy communication. The apartment had just about everything I needed for a several-day stay.
