Veronica’s place is a great, peaceful spot in northern MN. Not too far from many cool parks and fun stuff to do. She was a great host, kind and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the bath was wonderful after some long hikes in the snow. Would love to see it in the summer.

Veronica was awesome the whole stay! Her breakfast is cheap and well worth it. She makes you feel right at home and she is great company but will also leave you with your privacy. Will definitely be coming back!

Veronica is a wonderful host. I felt at home in her presence. A remarkable cook serving delicious home cooked meals healthy, plentiful and hearty. Good conversation and had the pleasure of meeting her family. Her home is the perfect location for those whom want to explore Voyageurs NP and surroundings . All the amenities one can need are provided.

Fantastic place to stay! Veronica is a wonderful, gracious host. She made us feel right at home, and was very helpful in suggesting local places to visit. She is within an hour or so drive to local sites of interest - including International Falls, Ely, and Voyageurs National Park; and only 15-20 minutes away from the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary (a must visit). The home is beautiful, cozy; nestled in the woods. We stayed in the "Master Bear Room" (a nice play on words!). Guests should know that that room comes with a hot tub; a shower/sauna is included with the other room that is offered. So if there is another guest, you won't have access to a shower. The rooms are located on the lower level, so you will need to be able to negotiate stairs. A common sitting room and kitchenette are provided. The gourmet breakfasts are more than worth the additional nominal cost. They were delicious! We strongly recommend Veronica' Hundred Acre Woods; and would gladly stay again!

We loved our stay with Veronica. The jacuzzi was amazing and so was breakfast in the morning--definitely get the breakfast! It was a little stuffy in our room after taking a hot bath because there is no AC, but Veronica brought us an extra fan and gave us some tips to cool the room down which worked great! We would definitely stay again.
