An amazing place! It's very clean, close to the beach, pools are nice, a 15 min taxi from all the bars/city, and the host us super helpful!

So there's some good news and some bad news. Let's start with the good - very clean, impeccably maintained, almost brand new, very nice swimming pool, exactly as seen in pics, reasonable location (only about 20 mins to Danang city), great beach and generally helpful staff at the ocean villa compound (which this estate is a part of)! The bad news - unexpected construction noise right next doors, not a single window in the bedroom, the walls are thin so if someone even laughs loudly in the adjacent apartment you can hear it. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay then this is not for you! Its next to the main highway so there's already some traffic noise though once you close the door this noise is considerably less disturbing. But the construction noise makes up for the decrease in traffic noise. I was particularly disappointed that we had not been forewarned about the construction. I would not have booked it had I known. So I did feel a bit cheated. I asked for alternative accommodation to be arranged and while the host was responsive and seemed to make an effort nothing actually ever came through. The beach is a bit of a walk, the restaurant inside the compound (called Whitecaps) is well below average so no good eating options within the compound. You either have to buy groceries at supermarket (20 mins away) or go to Danang city or a neighbouring hotel. Rest was ok, the butler - Thomas, was great. Really responsive and helpful bloke. Cleaner also came in everyday to clean what is already a very clean apartment. Overall, reasonably good value for money but it cannot be compared to a luxury resort vacation. It was practical for us as we travelled with our 9 month old infant son and his nanny (so space, kitchenette, privacy were important to us). But had it just been my wife and I , I would have probably not gone for this!

A great apartment exactly as described. The complex has great facilities with wonderful staff - very convenient with a baby. It's about half way between the airport and Hoian so it's a little way to get into town but nothing too difficult and this is compensated for by the beach access. Taxis are easily available and the reception staff are always happy to call one for you. The restaurant and spa are wonderful and overall the complex is very quiet and peaceful. The owners were accommodating with an early check in and baby cot and check-out was very easy. We had a guest liaison person available 24/7 and we didn't need him much, but when we did he was very available. The only down side was the traffic noise at night as the apartment is right on the main road and there is a lot of honking that happens on the Vietnam roads. However with the windows and bedroom doors closed it wasn't an issue. I highly recommend for a family getaway if you are looking for something quiet, convenient and self-contained and I will definitely consider staying again.
