My partner, our two pups, and I stayed here and really enjoyed our stay! We had everything we possibly needed and it was such an ideal location if traveling with dogs as the space is fully fenced in - a rarity for a lakeside property! We borrowed the kayaks and had such a nice paddle around the lake, even spotting an eagle. The lake is pretty quiet in the morning which made it peaceful. We also adored the pub space for playing board games. Melissa was extremely responsive to any questions we had and provided very clear check in and check out directions. We hope to return in the future!

Melissa's cottage was wonderful for our family. The lake really is crystal clear and there are plenty of stand up paddle boards, noodles and kayaks to fully enjoy it. The cottage itself is fun to explore and has plenty of space to find yourself a corner to relax. The Pub was our favorite location to hang out. Melissa was very responsive to answer questions. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Melissa was a very responsive host and her place was very well equipped. There are a lot of stairs and many are uneven. It wasn’t a problem for my group and they took precautions to try to make them as safe as possible. The lake was beautiful and the house was very comfortable.

Working with Melissa was seamless. Prior to our arrival, Melissa provided straightforward check-in and checkout information. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed.

We wanted to stay at a cozy lake cottage and Melissa's cottage was everything we were looking for. She is a great host. The cottage is right on Crystal Lake with many decks/patios under shade tress to enjoy, plus 3 lake docks that are shared. It was our two golden retrievers second birthday and they loved hiking at Kettle Moraine State Forest in the mornings and swimming in the lake in the afternoons. We went to Lakehouse Grill (1 mile from cottage) each night for dinner, they are pet friendly and have a different dinner special menu each night. Look no further and reserve this wonderful lake cottage!
