Ba Danh is a traditional Mekong style house offering several bedrooms in the middle of coconut forest. The house sits by small branch of Mekong river. This is a get-away from the hustle of the cities: a quiet place to chill out in a hammock, ride on a boat down the nearby river, and dine on down-to-earth country food. Bicycles are free to use and are a great way to explore the backroads and see local fruit farms. Mekongzigzag tours offered by us, authentic and unique: scooters, sailboat, food. Just 7km from Ben Tre city, but our homestay makes you feel in the middle of nowhere. The house is located by a small canal, surrounded by ‘water-coconut”, green tangerines, lotus flowers, somewhere in a calm village. You are going to stay in a traditional style, which is interacting with the nature, having coconut leaf as the roof, clean, tidy, having sunlight coming in, breeze going through whenever you open a window. Swinging on the hammock under the antium is Mekong style. Having bathrooms and toilet a few steps outside is also our style, although you may find it sometimes inconvenient. We do understand that you worry about mosquitoes, so good mosquitoes net is always prepared for each bed. Food is prepared buy our relatives, with organic local ingredients. You love to make you feel at home, so breakfast time is whenever you wake up. You are also free to pick your own drinks at any time, just note down to remember. At our home, we produce coconut candies to sell online so if you are interested, you can join with us to learn the process. You'll have chance to taste different candies flavours of your liking. We want to see people cycling zig zag through the village and come back happy, so we offer bikes for free. You also can kayaks along the beautiful and quiet channel from our house, climb up a coconut trees and pick one by yourself, learn to open it, cook something with it….We have to invest much for these , so please pay us with a reasonable price, which will be listed clearly when you want to know. Sometimes people stay with us for a week, and would like to explore outside further. And we can help you call a boat, a car, a Tuk Tuk, a scooter without taking any commission from those services.
