We’ve stayed at the Honua Kai 4 times. The location is great, Dukes restaurant is just steps away and the beach is great with easy access to the ocean. This place is really great for families with little ones. We love the full kitchen and washer/dryer. This unit’s lanai is huge and we pretty much lived with the accordion doors/windows open so our condo felt almost twice as big as it is. There is a small market downstairs and you can get pretty much anything you need. There is also a grocery store about a quarter mile away. Lahaina is only about 10 min away by car and Whaler’s Village only about 5 min away. Great place with amenities to make your life really easy!

This facility and unit does not disappoint! Loads of windows and natural light! The unit was well appointed with the basic kitchen utensils, bathroom amenities etc… The kitchen/laundry has higher-end appliances that were all well maintained. There are four beach chairs, a cooler and a beach wagon if needed/wanted. There was ample outdoor seating and eating space on the EXPANSIVE lanai. The beds and furniture were very comfortable! We appreciated that the unit was a little further away from the restaurant and pool area as it was much quieter, yet we could still take full advantage of the views- both mountain and ocean. If you are someone who likes to workout, the on-site gym is very nice: Matrix treadmills, ellipticals, standard and recumbent bikes, free weights etc… the area was always clean and well maintained. There is an on-site coffee shop, restaurant and rental area for snorkeling/boogie boards etc..We will be back for sure! And a shout-out to Maui Rentals..super responsive!

Our stay in Maui was wonderful. The place was perfect and right by the beach the hosts were wonderful and accommodating with all information and any question we had! We will definitely be staying here again in the future!
