On a sunny late afternoon in 2007, with a view of the wonderful alpenglow on the Kreuzkofel in South Tyrol, the idea was born to build an Alpine Mountain House for friends, connoisseurs and lovers of the mountains of this world. The Alpine Mountain House has found its location in one of the most beautiful parts of the German mountain landscape, in Chiemgau, on the edge of the mountain village and climatic health resort of Reit im Winkl. You enter the Dorfchalet Cortina through the central entrance area with a Bavarian star-shaped door made of old wood. An internal door behind it provides access to the checkroom area. A natural stone staircase leads up to the romantic chalet with its old wooden gable. This historic roof truss was first erected for a farm in Upper Bavaria in 1876. It has been protecting the chalet in Reit im Winkl since 2011. The romantic bedroom with its old castle door made of bevelled glass adjoins the main room of the chalet. The bedroom is furnished with box-spring beds and an original farmhouse wardrobe from South Tyrol for your clothes. You will find storage space for your suitcases in built-in cupboards. A 7-meter-long balcony with a view of the village, the mountains and the adjacent stream rounds off the chalet and invites you to linger in the fresh mountain air. The total area of the Dorfchalet Cortina is 61 square meters. Our valued guests have free entry to the indoor and outdoor pools. WLAN is of course at your disposal.
