This is definitely the best Airbnb experience I’ve had in bim. It looked just like the pictures, the beds were comfy and I enjoyed catching a peak of the American cable I can’t watch at home during downtime. I didn’t get to meet either of the hosts but they were responsive and polite. There’s were a few minor issues but they didn’t impede on the comfort or quality of my stay and the hosts were quick to fix them and I’d love to stay again. You will def have to get on the bus/zr to go grocery shopping as there isn’t a shop in a walkable distance. Do not let the taxi men charge you more than 25 to get from Oistins to Maxwell. There is a restaurant/bar a couple minutes up the road and bus stops for both directions at a similar distance. And Dover beach is only a 10-15 minute walk away.

I stayed 6 weeks in Mangoville and it quickly felt like home. It is ideally located within walking distance of wonderful beaches but also the main road to catch all the buses. The local charm of the monkeys, birds and chickens etc made it even more enjoyable. My friends who came to visit loved it too. The bedrooms are large and the AC worked so well. It was a relief at the end of the day. It was perfect for my long stay holiday.

Stayed here in August for two weeks. Very good host Peter, who lives above. Very happy and quick to respond should we need help. Nice bottle of fizz upon arrival. Excellent quick Wi-Fi in the apartment. Many Chanel’s in the tv should you wish to watch tv. Childrens nursery/ preschool next door, but generally very quiet and well behaved kids who gave a wave as we left for the day. As this is a ground floor apartment we do hear a lot of movement and banging and noise from upstairs which starts as early as 8am. Keys to the door took a bit of working out but after a couple of days worked it out. Very comfortable beds but struggled to find a really comfortable pillow. Good air con in bedrooms only. Shower, shampoo and conditioner for about 2 showers, so bring some for the rest of your stay. Kitchen is good, but nothing in cupboards so bring basics like oil, salt and pepper, pegs, wash tabs tea sugar and coffee etc if your planning on cooking/ eating. BBQ outside but local supermarket is very expensive and limited for choice. Best to go to Oistins to buy fresh. But we never used BBQ in the end. Found a good local bar, Dexters. Good cheap beer and food. Spent many days on beach next to Johnny cools where you can get good but not cheap food and drinks, but free use of sunbeds and excellent Wi-Fi. Bring insect repellent as we have been bitten many times whilst out and about. August is classed as rainy season but not had much at all. Can usually dodge and find a bar. It only lasts for 10/15 minutes most then it’s hot again.

Such a wonderful space to stay in. Easy to get to & close to EVERYTHING! Peter & Shirnel were very accommodating & I would definitely stay here again
