Enchanted 32-acre Irish hideaway in Co. Mayo. Enjoy luxury yurts, a traditional tipi, a hot tub, campfire and BBQ areas, a lake, a small wood, and a bubbling stream on our hidden farm. It's all the fun of camping with a touch of magic and heaps of comfort. You'll have the entire yurt on the hilltop, complete with cozy seats inside and out, BBQ tables for cooking over a fire or enjoying coffee, and even a double hammock for a nap in the woods. You are welcome to wander around our 32 acres; feel free to use the picnic blanket and basket provided in your yurt to enjoy a picnic anywhere you like. Our yurt is off-grid (no electricity inside the yurt), but it is designed to provide you with all the comforts inside and out. It features a comfortable double bed, a lounge chair and dining areas both inside and outside. There is a Provence gas heater to keep your warm. Right in front of your yurt, you can BBQ or make your morning coffee and sit back to relax and enjoy the view of the rolling hills. Each unit comes equipped with camping gear: a picnic basket packed with everything you need, a picnic blanket, a head torch, and lanterns that also double as power banks. The yurt itself is off-grid, so please charge the lanterns during the day at our charging station. Next to the host's blue cottage, the stable has been transformed into a kitchenette with a microwave, fridge, kettle, and French press coffee makers. Here's the charging station for all your tech and lockboxes for keeping things safe, and also free to use wifi. Get ready to meet pheasants, hares, foxes, and maybe even a deer. We’ve got a lake, a stream, some hills, and a bit of forest to explore. Find our haunted old ruin if you dare, or check out the fairy meadow where a friendly family of fae lives (look for the tiny fairy doors!). If you're not out exploring beautiful Mayo, relax in our wood-fired hot tub(free of charge) by the forest or hang out at one of our BBQ spots by the stream or in the woods. On clear nights, you can see a gorgeous dark sky with hundreds of stars. Bring your sense of adventure and some wellies—nature’s waiting! Maximum capacity of this yurt: 2 people - perfect for romantic getaways or artist retreats(you know you want to finish writing that novel!) Please note: in our effort to create a truly private and secluded experience, we've placed our two yurts on the hilltops. This setup ensures that our guests can enjoy nature in privacy. However, this means there is about a 5-minute walk from the parking lot to the units themselves. The walk takes you through the forest and up a little hill.
