Oasis is the word that springs to mind. You travel through a typical Portuguese village and behind the gates is this, Oasis. Silvia met us at the gate and then was just the nicest kindest person you could possibly ever want to meet. She explained the house and electric gates to us and then we spoke about the reason for visiting the area and she immediately offered suggestions of places of interest to us, which turned out to be amazing to visit, these we had failed to find with usual searches or online. She was attentive to every question and always responded but also left us to just relax when we were back at the house. We went in Oct and the first days the weather was great so we sat on the garden furniture on the terrace in the evenings watching bats and the stars, we did have a storm in the middle of the visit with thunder and lots of lightning due to the construction you could barely hear a thing inside from the rain. We will visit again in the future and recommend you visit.

It was the best stay in Airbnb I’ve ever had! The house, professionally and tastefully designed by owner Silvia is contemporary, spotless and has every amenity you can think about. Silvia is very welcoming, responsive and caring host. She gave us lots of great advice about local attractions and food. And fresh fruits from her garden, home baked delicious bread, pastries, eggs and other breakfast staples provided every morning were a nice surprise. Thank you, Silvia! It was a great pleasure to meet you and to stay in your house!

Si vous cherchez un petit coin de paradis pour visiter le nord du Portugal, ne cherchez plus, allez chez Silvia. Location parfaitement conforme à la description et très propre. Nous n'avons vraiment manqué de rien ! Les hôtes sont d'une grande gentillesse et vous apporteront le petit déjeuner le matin ! Si vous avez besoin de quoi que ce soit, n'hésitez pas à leur demander, ils feront tout pour vous satisfaire ! Je recommande ce logement à 1000% !

I can confirm that all the positive reviews here are true and the house is exactly the same as the pictures. Silvia is a super super 6 star host from the minute I pressed the book button. She is very attentive to all our needs. As we arrived very late, she messaged us to offer us dinner so we did not need to look for food. The house is sparkling clean. The air conditioning is good (very important in summer). The garden is beautiful. Thank you Silvia for everything!

Silvia’s place is exactly what we looking for. Comfortable, clean and a great place to relax. She provided us with wine and bread and snacks. The outdoor patio was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was spotlessly clean and well well provisioned. Would definitely stay here again.
