Downtown Gypsum is eight miles away offering numerous restaurants and coffee shops. The family lives there and operates the ranch. In season, you may see Angus cattle on the property. During the summer and fall enjoy a range of fruit trees including apples, peaches, cherries, apricots, and plums. There are also serviceberries and buffalo berries. As for our local wildlife, bald eagles cruise up and down the river, wild turkeys roam the property, and deer and elk are frequent visitors. Occasionally, bighorn sheep come down to the river for a drink. There are also bears and mountain lions.
