Ibu's cottage is situated in Umdloti's pristine nature reserve, overlooking the spectacular Indian Ocean. The cottage has 1 bedroom, a chefs dream kitchen, and a comfortable lounge / dining area. There is also a spacious deck for outdoor living, as well as a barbeque area. Ibu's Cottage is an old fisherman's cottage that has been carefully restored and modernized over a 3-year period. It has been lovingly decorated with beautiful treasures from Bali.

Worth the walk up the stairs! A view to die for! Very quiet Nd peaceful! Hosts were amazing! I lost my phone and had accepted it was gone. Gardener found it and handed it in! Great to know there are still people like this around! Everything seemed brand new! I will be back!
Ibu's cabin is perfectly located if u r looking for somewhere to unwind and relax away from the hustle and bustle, once you get up all the stairs, the views are incredible and uninterrupted(well worth it)..thank you for the great restaurant recommendations(del Pronto and Tightlines and Sandbar for cocktails) and for making our stay enjoyable.I will definitely recomend this cabin and hope to be back again soon.

It is one of the best surfing spots in Durban!
Walk, ride a bike, or take an Uber.
Rent a car if you are planning to drive further afield.
Bike rental is available from Umdloti centre (next to the petrol station).
