The Mourne Hideaway is at situated at the foot of the Majestic Mourne Mountains, perfect for a few days hiking the stunning views and scenery. The Mourne Hideaway is a cosy, country escape. Only 15min drive to the bustling town of Newcastle and 15min drive to Cranfeild Beach. A stay here includes everything you might need for a couples romantic retreat or a small family getaway! Areas of attraction •Slieve Donard •Royal County Down Golf Course •Cranfeild Beach •Castlewellan Forest Park Bedrooms are located on the upper floor. One bedroom has 1 king size bed with electric blanket the other bedroom as one single bed with electric blanket and a double bed also with electric blanket (all beds have mattress toppers for extra comfort) there’s also rails with hangers to hang up any garments. Bathroom is located on ground floor,it is fitted with an electric shower and towels are provided as is shampoo,conditioner and body wash etc. The kitchen-we provide a fridge,microwave,kettle,toaster,washing machine,dishwasher and air fryer. There’s always a special touch with a basket of snacks/treats and off course milk,bread,butter,coffee,tea,cereal etc Ironing broad,iron,clothes house and outdoor line also available!!! Netflix also available. Any allergies please make aware so I can accommodate you with ur own individual needs. 1 hour from Belfast airports and 1 hour from Dublin airport ✈️

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely views of the mountains and surrounding areas. The extra touches from Jenna were very thoughtful and made us feel right at home. The whole place is so so comfortable and clean. Looking forward to staying here again 😁😁
From the moment we arrived, we loved it! The house was beautiful, spotlessly clean and so peaceful. The surrounding area was absolutely stunning and the little touches in the house were so thoughtful and kind. We will absolutely be back without a double!! Just had an amazing, relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend to friends and family. Was absolutely beautiful, all the small touches didn’t go a miss either, a wee basket of goodies, food for breakfast and fresh milk and bottled water. Absolutely fabulous xx

Jenna’s place was absolutely gorgeous, it looks exactly like the photos and even better in real life! Jenna had thought of every single detail to have the place kitted out with anything you could really need. The place was spotless and very peaceful, great to relax in after a day of hiking, we will definitely be back!

Very quiet neighbourhood! 30 minute walk to nearest pub,shop and restaurants.
Free parking, could hold a large bus if needed! Your car will be right outside the front door. 100% need a vehicle as we are in the country and may need transportation to the start of the mountain routes,takeaway pick ups into the village.
Bus stop at the bottom of the road(Mill Road) 15min walk from bus stop to the Mourne Hideaway.

Hello my name is Jenna. I’ve lived in the centre of the Mourne Mountains my whole life and I have to say I will never want to leave! The area I live in is stunning and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Being a mummy of three little princess’s we have lots of time to enjoy the beautiful countryside on are doorstep and going for beautiful walks. Being brought up in a B&B I always enjoyed guests staying and making them feel at home.
