Bring the whole family together in our lovely holiday house with lots of room for fun. Maes Derwydd is a light and spacious dorma bungalow with a dog and child friendly large enclosed garden. Less than 10 minutes walk from Benllech’s golden sandy beach, 2 minutes to the nearest shop and pub. Less than a 10 minute walk to local shops including co-op and Tesco & all the pubs and eateries Benllech has to offer. At low tide or via the coastal path Traeth Bychan and Red Wharf bay are a walk away. About the space A light and spacious dormer bungalow, our holiday home has ample space for multi-generational families or multiple families holidaying together and is well located to take advantage of all this beautiful area has to offer. Less than a 10 minute walk from Benllech's golden sandy beach, it is the perfect spot for little sandcastle builders and rock poolers, while the sea offers splashing good fun for paddling children, dogs and watersports enthusiasts alike, offering surfing, windsurfing, kayaking and sailing. Anglesey's famous Coastal Path is also close at hand. Benllech's great cafés, restaurants, pubs and bistros are within easy walking distance, while there is a local pub and shop just a two minute walk. The space The door opens to a light and spacious hallway off which you will find three of the four bedrooms, plus the spacious living accommodation, perfect for relaxing at the end of a busy day. Downstairs the bedrooms comprise a family room with a double and single bed; a double room and a room with bunkbeds. You will also find the downstairs bathroom with whirlpool bath, shower over bath and WC. The large, comfortable lounge offers a smart TV and seating for up to 10 people, and extends out into a sunroom, which is a lovely spot for morning coffee or evening sundowners and offers access to the garden via patio doors. Also off the hallway is the fully equipped kitchen area with double oven, induction hob, fridge, freezer and microwave. There is plenty of crockery and glassware for 10 people, including plastic plates and utensils for our small humans. Leading from the kitchen, you will find the dining area with a very large dining table and a choice of seating on benches or chairs - providing a comfortable area for family meals and board games. Access to the large, landscaped garden and patio area is either from the sunroom or the utility room off the dining area. Once outside you will find garden dining furniture for up to 10 people, plus a lawned area perfect for both children and dogs. Please note there are steps up to the property at each entrance. Upstairs, you will find a large master bedroom, plus a large bathroom with bath, cubicle shower and WC. From here you can enjoy a beautiful sea view to the left of the property and Snowdonia to the right. Guest access You will access the property via the lockbox code provided on booking. There is off-road parking for up to 3 vehicles at the property Other things to note The rear garden is fully enclosed and safe for dogs and children to play. There are steps up to each entrance at the property. The master bathroom also has a step which we would ask you take note of and be aware of when using the bathroom There are no grab rails in the bathrooms. P tlease note, we have a no smoking policy at the house, A travel cot, potty and toilet step are available for use at the property. We provide all bedding and towels, with the exception of the travel cot, as we have found people prefer to bring their own bedding for babies. We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs at our house, but please note they must be kept off furniture and beds and you must ensure that you pick up after your dog.
