Uldale nestles in the Caldbeck Fells, 5 miles south of Caldbeck, 10 miles north of Keswick and 4 miles from Bassenthwaite Lake. This quieter corner of the National Park is the perfect base from which to relax and unwind, with walking from the door, wander over the back of Skiddaw, take in the breathtaking views of Bassenthwaite and Derwentwater as you head to Keswick where you can spend the day exploring the towns shops, bars and restaurants. If the walk back seems to much, return on one of the many buses servicing the area. Within a short drive there are popular attractions waiting for you to explore including Dodd Wood, Ashness Bridge, Whinlatter Forest mountain bike trails and Go Ape along with the watersport opportunities on the lake itself.
