This site is along the Wild Atlantic Way and there are many wonderful historic and scenic areas to explore around Sligo and Mayo. Our site would provide an ideal location as a base for exploring these areas. we have locally, The Griddle Stone, The Split Rock, An Pol Gorm, Easkey Castle, Aughris Head and Walk, Trawee, Dunmoran strands, and the seaside village and beach of Enniscerone. Further into Sligo, you have, W.B. Yeat Grave, Lisadell house, Hazelwood, Rosses Point beach and golf course, Strandhill village and beach, Glencar Lake and waterfall, and the Knocknarea and Benbiulben mountains with wonderful walks and trails to name but a few. Visit the Ceide Fields, Downpatrick Head, Killala, Achill. Knock Shrine, and Croagh Patrick to name a few in Mayo, In Sligo.
