Very spacious house in a beautiful setting. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and peaceful. We wanted a weekend away from the hustle and bustle (i.e. quiet days and long starry nights) and we found it at the Percha Creek House. Great place for a getaway.

It would had been nice to had been notified that there was no hot water in the bathrooms.

Very comfortable, spacious home right on a forested area and creek. The kitchen was well furnished and we were cooking for a whole week so that was important. Gary was very responsive with additional items that we requested, such as a blender and an electric kettle. The rooms vary quite a bit in terms of light, comfort and space, and bathroom situations. We wanted extreme quiet because we were silent all day working on writing projects- sometimes the neighbors and their dogs were a little noisy, but not a big problem. The walking opportunities in the area were a little disappointing- mostly rather unattractive forest service roads - but for those who are only staying for a night or two and are looking for more interesting adventures, there are plenty of places within driving distance for hiking/exploring. We were very happy with the place. Great place for a writing retreat. The birds were amazing in late May.

Gary was a gracious host and was very helpful. The location is a bit remote but it's a great place to get away from it all
