We had a family vacation and stayed 7 nights at Villa del mare in mid June. We were 9 adults and 3 babies. The villa is very comfortable and we immediately felt like home. It is very spacious inside and out, and offers a beautiful infinity pool, two fully-equipped kitchens, a grill, several dining areas, a small gym with a sauna and a breathtaking view that just doesn't get old. The villa's location is also a convenient starting point for exploring the surrounding area with great beaches and Greek taverns close by. The host is professional, friendly and responsive. She was also flexible with check in and out times to fit our flights. I highly recommend the villa - everything was perfect!

Wirklich sehr schönes Haus, bei unserer Ankunft haben wir ein Körbchen mit Essen vorgefunden, was wirklich super war, da wir sonntags ankamen und somit gleich bis Montag versorgt waren. Die Kommunikation war super, unsere Ansprechpartnerin hat immer in sehr kurzer Zeit zurückgeschrieben, nachdem klar war, wer jetzt der Ansprechpartner ist; zu anfangs wurde ich nämlich von verschiedenen Personen angeschrieben und wusste nicht genau, wer der richtige Ansprechpartner ist. Aber nach unserer Ankunft, auf die wegen Verspätung unseres Fluges auch wunderbar flexibel reagiert wurde, war alles klar! Wir bekamen eine tolle Einweisung und Empfehlungen für die Gegend. Es gab zwar während unseres Aufenthalts kleinere technische Probleme, aber auch da war sofort Hilfe zur Stelle. Insgesamt ein toller Aufenthalt!

Our party of 10 really enjoyed our stay at Villa del Mare! The house is great for many people, the pool is nice - and the view overlooking the bay is spectacular! Communication with the owner of the house was smooth. We went to the beach and to some restaurants nearby, but other than that we had enough excitement relaxing at the house, playing basketball in the basketball court and swimming in the pool or in the sea down the road from the house. All in all a great vacation - even despite cloudy and windy weather the first couple of days :-)

Everything is excellent. The house is clean and stylish, the host is welcoming and helpful. The infinity pool is great fun with an amazing view, and perfect for diving due to the 2.4m depth. For nature lovers this villa is amazing. We saw dolphins from the villa on one night, and were swimming in shoals of hundreds of fish off the pier. The local beaches are very good and only a 5-10 min drive from the villa. One of them has a volleyball court and small cafe, great fun with a large group.

We LOVED this home. It is in a gated property and the home is as beautiful as the pictures but what is just as good are the views of the ocean and mountains from the home - they are spectacular!! The owner provided all toiletries, blankets, and plenty of house and beach towels. They even had homemade Greek goodies on table for us when we arrived. The area is peaceful, quiet and friendly. The area has local markets and restaurants if you don't want to travel into Chania. We loved the place and are planning to return with more family members. It is the perfect Greek experience - hospitality, picturesque beauty, and amazing food and culture!!
