Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Our cosy and comfortable cottage is set amongst private tranquil gardens and beautiful native bush. A short stroll and you are at the beach, where you may find a piece of precious greenstone to take home, or watch a stunning sunset. It is also very close to the popular Wilderness Cycle trail, which follows the coastline. Situated half way between Greymouth and Hokitika, and just off the main highway, you have easy access to our local attractions. The property is private, warm and sunny and situated in a very quiet but friendly neighbourhood.

Place was perfect! Could not fault it! Adored the furniture and was very grateful to have the continental breakfast that was kindly gifted to us. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
a nights stop over at Rhondas cottage was just what we needed after a Long drive . we walked straight in jumped on the lazy boys with the plush comforters and chucked a movie on Netflix. we watched the sunset on the beach it was amazing . the cottage had all we needed including an amazing selection for breakfast. we were lucky enough to meet our host she's very lovely. recommended
Great cosy retreat during a big storm, great location when travelling the west coast. Super comfy beds. Rhonda was a fantastic host.

Driving time to Greymouth is 10 mins and to Hokitika its 15 mins.
Paroa Hotel or Theatre Royal Hotel, both with a bar and restaurant, are 5 mins drive. Monteiths Brewery Bar in Greymouth is very popular for beer tasting and tapas meals.
There is plenty of off road parking space for large vehicles or trailers. Also a lockup shed for your bikes. A stones throw from the cycle trail, which takes you left towards Greymouth or right to Kumara and Hokitika.

Hi, Im Rhonda and I live in Camerons Beach, just two doors down from Kahikatea Cottage. My previous air bnbs were a farm cottage and a townhouse. I'm usually available to help guests in any way and look forward to meeting you if possible. I have a mountain bike and a kayak available for guests to use.
