Jeffrey's place is awesome! Stayed with some friends and 3 dogs for 4 nights and we had a great time. The location is great and the view from the porch is stunning! The main cabin feels very cozy and open and the adjoining cabin is wonderful as well. The only issue we had was with the hot tub. We couldn't get it to turn on the first night but Jeffrey was very responsive and sent a maintenance person the next day to take a look at it. Turns out it was an issue with the breaker and we kept having to reset it whenever we wanted to use it- and even then it would still turn off randomly. But Jeffrey was very kind and even stayed on the phone with me to walk me through resetting it the first time- he said he had never had issues with it before so I think it was just bad luck. Shit happens! Overall we really enjoyed our stay here. The lake is gorgeous, the dock is a short walk and provides an amazing swimming area, and we loved using the paddleboard and the lily pad!

Location is quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching boats in Lake Nantahala and the stars at night. The rain on a metal roof is always a soothing sound. Hot tub was a great place to relax after the days adventures. Beds were comfortable. Living room and game room were great for coming together for family time. Driveway is steep but doable. One vehicle we left parked for duration of trip. Internet was good most of time. Poor reception in separate cabin. Might be iffy if you need it for work/school. A variety of movies we could choose from and smart tv in living room that you can use apple play with. I had two older guest with mobility issues - they were not able to get upstairs as the steps in main house are steep. But there is a downstairs bedroom. We went to dock once. I imagine during summer it would be a great place to enjoy. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.

We spent spring break at the cabin, and it was absolutley wonderful. My family of 5 along with my parents truly enjoyed our stay. Jeff was wonderful and provided us with great suggestions on things to do and see. Everything was exactly as described. My three boys loved it and never got bored (ages 14, 10, and 1.5). Bring a baby gate for limited access to stairs and you are good to go with toddlers or infants!

The home and location were absolutely beautiful, there are plenty of different places to hang out and things to do around the cabin. The beds were super comfy too, and they had lots of pillows on our bed with different firmness. There is something here for everybody! The only downsides: it’s a very steep driveway that turns to gravel halfway up so if it’s wet, you might have a hard time getting up it. (They do warn you of that and they do have property managers on site if needed). Another thing was you don’t have service for about 20 minutes out, and the WiFi went in and out on us a couple of times during our trip so we had to spend some time resetting the routers. Other than those two very minor things, our trip was absolutely phenomenal and we plan on coming back again if they’ll have us!

The property was beautiful, the game room was well appointed and fun, the guest cabin was cute and cozy, main house was beautiful and the porch was to die for!! Jeff was communicative and helpful with his recommendations for what to do and where to eat locally. Our only issues were that the driveway is hard to manage if you don't maintain speed going up and it could use some gravel. There's not a TV in each room only one big one in the living room. The private boat dock is awesome but the stairs are a little steep.
