Steve was an excellent host. The room matched the description perfectly along with the relaxing pool was a perfect touch to this summer heat. Steve really went above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing experience. I would definitely be staying here again. 10/10!!!
Steve and Nick were fantastic hosts! If staying in a place that's occupied in the adjacent home gives you pause, put those feelings aside, as this was basically a 2 room hotel with housekeeping/concierge within earshot all day! They were above and beyond accommodating, and would check in while we were using the common/pool area to see if we needed anything, while still being very respectful of our privacy. They even offered to cook us breakfast!! To give you an idea of how these guys work: We saw Steve put balloons and champagne in the other room as birthday surprise upon arrival for the other guests! I can't speak to if it was requested or not, but the fact that he was willing to go the extra mile and have those little touches is all you need to know. Bonus if you like cats as they do meander around the pool area once in while, but also mind their own business if that's not your thing. I would highly recommend staying with them, and would give them more than 5 stars if i could!
Steve and Nick are amazing hosts. Very kind, respectful and thoughtful of their guests. They think ahead and overall have a beautiful place to stay. Everything is very clean and modern which is my go to when booking a place. I wish i was able to stay longer! I also loved their cats!
Steve's house is a true oasis in a stunning location! The tastefully designed & meticulously looked after guest suite is beautiful, comfortable, well equipped and very spacious. The patio with pool is great for a refreshing dive and a drink in the evening. Communication with Steve was easy and smooth, as were check-in and check-out.

The Cove is a well-established, safe, and quiet residential neighborhood in the city of La Quinta, one of the 9 cities that make up the Coachella Valley region.
We are located at the top end of The Cove, just two houses away from the open Santa Rosa Wilderness Natural Reserve, so there is very little traffic.
To minimize light pollution and preserve the ability to view the stars, street lighting in The Cove is limited to major intersections on the main thoroughfares.
Our home is less than a 5-minute drive from Old Town La Quinta, where you will find many restaurants, shops, and boutiques. It's about a 12–15 minute drive to a full range of grocery stores, Trader Joes, pharmacies, Walmart, etc.
There is plenty of on-street parking available, but you do need a car to get around the Valley as public transport services are limited.
We will he happy to hook you up with friends who operate bike and e-bike rental stores, including booking in advance.

My Partner Nick and I areboth retired and enjoy welcoming visitors to come and stay with us. We are both well travelled and can generally hold an intelligent conversation with those interested in joining us for a glass of wine (and perhaps a Cigar) by the pool or the outdoor fireplace on a cool desert evening. Our latest obsession is hockey, so if you are in the area during a home game and interested, we can try to hook you with some tickets!
