The good: We only had a one night stay so didn't spend that much time in the space - it was perfectly fine for what we wanted, bedding clean, place tidy, plenty of space for two (& our dog). We also liked the location, an easy walk in to Hertford and nice and quiet. Though we didn't meet Morag, she was a friendly, helpful host. Not quite so good: In common with the other guests we felt at £140 (for a Monday night in March) it was overpriced and wouldn't describe it as luxury though it was perfectly functional for our short stay. Morag was so friendly and funny, she greeted us as we drove up and was kind enough to let us park on her drive We were her first guests and our first impressions of the place were it was just like the pictures :). We picked the place as we liked the piano, pool table, location and the outside space with the firepit. Unfortunately we couldn't play the piano as it was push up against the wall and out of tune. The pool had seen better days, not quite sure why the balls came out at the side and not the ends. It was located a fair way from the town, maybe 20minutes (if u dont mind then ignore). Outside the firepit was missing :-(. Mainly for us we needed wifi which didn't work at first but Morag and her son were very quick to fix it. Had we of known about the piano, firepit and distance from town we may have reconsidered paying £120. Overall though the place was very pretty, it was clean and tidy and practical for a short stay and we would stay again!
