Vernda is a very nice lady and very hospitable. I had rented a room from her for a month. I added a second traveler at the time of resveration as her description had requested. I made her aware that my companion would only be around probably two weekends and maybe once or twice during the week, which she approved. The first night I stayed there we chatted and in conversation, I mentioned that my companion struggles with alcoholism. The next morning, she brought up the conversation from the night before and said she didn't want him to stay at her house because of "temptation" as she motioned to a corner of a room filled with liquor bottles. I assured her that my companion certainly would never steal anything, even alcohol. She again told me she wasn't comfortable to have my companion stay even after she had approved the traveler. While I understood what she meant, I don't think you can discriminate with travelers, especially after approval and payment. If that is something that might be troublesome, the alochol should be locked up, not people uninvited that were once approved. It caused me to rebook to another place costing me more money and no refund was ever offered.
