We stayed here after we sold our house and before we bought our new one. The place was great!! The view is amazing as soon as you walk through the door. Bela was great and always responded quickly if I had a question during our stay. The place had everything we needed and it made our stay super comfortable. The enclosed porch in the front of the house was a super peaceful place to sit and just watch the lake. There is also a fire pit on the lake with plenty of outdoor room. This was a very special place to stay and we are so glad we found it during our transition between houses.

The lake house is really nice, updated, and almost right on the lake. Only thing that separates the house from the lake is a narrow road. Perfect summer rental. We rented in winter so didnt get full use of the lake, kayaks, or outdoor amenities. The lake house will have everything you need. Plenty of towels, linens, tableware, etc. The living room has a really nice flat screen tv with cable tv service. That was a treat. Kitchen was fully stocked with bakeware, flatware, dishes, mugs, appliances, and even a Kurig! The home easily sleeps 8. But dining room seating is probably 6-7 max. Living room seating is probably 5-6 max. So if you're with a large group and all want to sit, eat and socialize together it would be difficult. The bedrooms are roomy and bedding/beds are comfortable. It was nice having two full bathrooms. The home is easy to find and there is plenty of parking, plus room to store your own beach/lake toys. My daughter is really into reading and appreciated the large selection of books in the house. My only suggestion is to de-clutter the home. We bought a week's worth of groceries and had to move mugs out of the cabinets to have a place to store our groceries. If you're a minimalist then the knick knacks and lots of furniture will get to you. Its a really cute lakeside house, and the owners didn't go overboard with 'beach' decorations. But it does have quite a few items on shelves, desks, tables, etc, some of which might be antiques. We carefully moved about the house in order to not accidentally knock over an antique. Probably not the best for kids to be around. Other than the clutter, it was a really nice, well stocked home in a great location on Congamond lakes. The home is close to dining, shopping, marinas, walking paths, and hiking. Southwick is a beautiful, quiet, community. if you're into the outdoors, water sports, this is the place for you.
