We live in a quiet, rural setting with fantastic views over the Hutt Valley and the Awakairangi/Hutt River, only 5 minutes from the shops and services in the city of Upper Hutt. Just minutes way are great walking tracks and mountain bike trails at Maymorn and Kaitoke. The Remutaka Cycle Trail follows the old train line up and over to the Wairarapa. Wellington City, our very cool capital, is 30 minutes by car, or an hour by public transport (bus and train). The house is on two levels with the family living upstairs with guests sharing the downstairs kitchen lounge and laundry. It is a large house so there is plenty of room for everyone. It is a rural property so access is down a mixed gravel/concrete drive. There is a steepish drive down to the house but it is concreted, perfectly okay for cars. RVs should not come down the drive but park at the top of the drive.
