Off the beaten path, far from the nearest paved road, the Mud Huts by Punta Bulata combines standards of sustainability with creature comforts of low-key beachfront life. It’s the perfect place to get in tune with your natural rhythm. My place is steps from the white sand beach. You’ll love my place because of the views, the ambiance, and the outdoors space. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups (company outings, team building, family reunions). •The four Mud Huts sit in front of a backdrop of limestone forests, surrounded by manicured lawns, and face the Sulu Sea •Each 34-square meter Mud Hut has a small patio and a private outdoor shower •Mud Huts can be arranged to accommodate individuals, couples and groups of up to four persons.
We loved the place, the mud huts were cool, they were directly in front of the beach which blew us away. The price was not expensive too. There were however mosquitoes in the room so keep repellat handy. There were gecko sounds, the ceiling leaked when it rained and no cellphone signal in that area. If you’re the type who likes to rough it up the place is perfect. My advice is also to bring your own food and utensils because it’s hard to go to the restaurant if it rains like what happened to us. The staff were helpful once we were able to contact them. We still had a great time.
