Welcome to your adventure in the heart of the dream of Northern Quebec! Nestled on the banks of the majestic Lake Matagami in the grandiose Eeyou Istchee Baie-James territory, north of the 49th parallel, the ÉcoGîtes du Lac Matagami offer a total immersion in nature. The site is located 10km from the Billy-Diamond road and consists of 3 cabins and two yurts. This cabin, Luna, has two double beds and a Queen bed (mezzanine) and can accommodate up to 6 people. The cabin is solid wood construction and completely finished in wood. The cabin offers an open space with cathedral ceiling and a mezzanine. The main living area is centered around a wood stove, which creates a very warm atmosphere. Luna is equipped with a glass corner shower, two sinks, a dry toilet (compost) and a kitchenette area. The cabin is supplied with hot and cold running water directly from the lake for the shower and sinks and electricity is fed to the solar panels. We provide containers of drinking water. The three chalets are equipped with a private Nordic bath accessible directly from the balcony. A cedar sauna can also be reserved on request. Each Ecogite has direct access to the beach. The territory of Eeyou Istchee Baie-James is larger than life and undoubtedly amazes.
