Great place to stay near center of St Germain en Laye, close to the RER (less then 10 minute walk) that brings you to Paris quickly. We were 4 guys and we all had our own bed, and the price is very attractive. Great shower by the way!

I can't say enough about my wonderful stay at Francoise's beautiful home in Saint Germain en Laye! It was the first time I stayed with a host with Airbnb and it was such a great experience that I shall venture into this option again, I sure! The maison itself was stunning, beautifully appointed and as Francoise is a talented artist, paintings of her work greet you everywhere! The jardin space behind the house was larger than anticipated and an idyllic place to read, have your morning coffee, or take in the sun as I was lucky enough to do in the beautiful weather I had on my September trip. Her family is lovely and helpful in directing me where I needed to go or urging me to get to the market or the art festival that was taking place in the streets without my knowledge. (So glad I went--it was FABULOUS!) Everything you could ever need is a 5 minute walk away...the cinema, the shops, the cafes, the square (Place du Marche) where you can people watch and have a great meal. The streets around her home are perfect for the dedicated walker, hills and charming vistas and a feeling of serenity. I could live here in a New York second!
