This fenced in property resides on a nearly half-acre lot. The deck and Cowboy pool offer idyllic relaxation and entertainment, set against a tranquil lake atmosphere. Approx. 5 mi. from Seven Points 13 mi. from Mabank 13 mi. from Gun Barrel City 17 mi. from Malakoff 19 mi. from Purtis Creek State Park This property has 3 bedrooms with 6 beds , of which 2 are king sized beds. Thus, it sleeps 9 or more comfortably. There are 2 full baths and spacious living area with designated workspace. Enjoy your family and friends' gathering in the spacious back porch. Fire-pit, Cowboy Pool and a grill make for a memorable night out of the city. There is ample parking space for a boat along with EV charging station on site. The property supports a variety of lakeside activities such as : boating, tubing, fishing, and jet-skiing Your perfect lakeside lifestyle of comfort, and adventure awaits in this home.

This place was wonderful. Nice backyard for the kids to run around and play. We were cooking for a quince and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was well worth the time and money. The host was very nice and ready to help at any time. The neighborhood does have quiet hours (10pm - 7am) and no parties so keep that in mind if you have a loud family that likes to stay up late or wanting to have a large gathering there. We had a really great time and would love to stay again.

We stayed at Raya's place in April 2024 for the Solar Eclipse, right after Raya purchased the location. Raya was very communicative and supportive to keeping our reservation through the property transfer - and that calmed a lot of our nerves. The place itself was very nice. The furniture is comfortable in all rooms/commons areas. The Kitchen is well equipped. Many of the items are eco/natural friendly and high quality. Compared to other homes in the area, the price point was very good. They also just thought through lots of little details.like shelves in bunks & chargers Unfortunately for us, the cowboy pool wasn't working. As part of the sale it went from owner cared to contractor cared for, and that wasn't established when we were there. Location is close to the lake - just a few minute walk. There was ample parking space for a boat on their property, and I think a nearby ramp. I'm not sure the best place for swimming on the lake, but the nearby ramp didn't look like one of them.
The Hickory House was an amazing experience! Check-in was easy and everything we needed was intuitively found in the house. We felt comfortable throughout the whole process. The large, fenced-in yard with Cowboy Pool and fire-pit was too cute. We were also blown away by the color-coordination of the walls, sheets, and bedspreads. It was more than perfect. Although not lakefront, the property is so close to the lake on-ramp. With all the parking on the property, one could easily bring a boat, Sea-Doo, or kayak. We highly recommend the Hickory House!
