We really enjoyed our family break at the Woodshed. Photos didn’t do it justice, beautiful and rustic. Quiet countryside, and easy access to lots of things to do.

This is a beautiful place to stay in idyllic surrounds. The accomodation was perfect for our family getaway and catered for all our needs. Choosing to sit by the private pond outside, or by the wood fire in the evening was the only difficulty. Although it is a close drive to nearby towns, it was a very peaceful hideaway so provided the best of both worlds. Thanks to Mel for being such a great host, and did I mention the lemon drizzle cake?

Perfect stay at The Woodshed. A quirky property, to a very high standard with a lovely cosy feel. We loved fishing in the pond and visiting the chickens and friendly goats. Mel made the most beautiful lemon cake for our arrival which was a lovely touch. Our only negative was that we wish we had booked for longer - couldn’t recommend highly enough. We will most definitely book again.
