The villa is spread over 6.070m2 of land, which gives access to lavish gardens. There are also various water elements throughout the villa including ponds and waterfalls. The villa itself is built on 1.230 m2 of land and features an elevator. Price includes: • Accommodation for up to 16 people is included in the price. For more than 12 people, we will place an extra bed per room at extra cost. Indonesian elements throughout the villa: Apart from its large size and the many facilities it offers – yoga space, spa, home cinema room – what makes this villa stand out is the distinct Indonesian decor. The owner has personally selected art pieces, sculptures and other ornaments from different places of Indonesia during his travels. Take a careful look at each room and each space in the villa, and you will get to know the distinct and colourful culture of Indonesia. Eco-friendly practices: The Long House follows eco-friendly practices, including solar panels, glass pitchers in each room, waste recycling, and the reduction of plastic bags. Location: The villa is located in Jimbaran and gets the best of both worlds: namely, both Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. 10 minutes from the villa, you will find Melasti and Pandawa white sand beaches. Jimbaran Beach, with its famous beach restaurants, is also in close proximity, and so is GWK Cultural Park, featuring the second tallest statue in the world. The fancy details that cannot be left out: Outdoor yoga shala: Just as you walk outside through the grass area, you will find an outdoor yoga shala perched atop Jimbaran Hill, perfect for a sunrise or sunset yoga class. The space comfortably fits 10-12 people and has a jaw dropping view. We also provide 2 yoga mats per room, so in total, 12 yoga mats. Home cinema room: The home cinema room has an ultra-large corner sofa and a flat-screen smart TV. It is the perfect space to watch your favourite movie and relax in the air-conditioned space when outside is too hot, especially during noon time. Spa: Alternatively, you can also book a massage at the spa. There is a range of treatments here from Acupressure to Four Hand Massage to Hair Treatment and Mani Pedi. The spa features 2 massage beds, an outdoor bathtub, a guest toilet and the ‘extension spa’ as we call it that has private lounge space and yet another massage bed for reflexology. Gym: For the athletic ones, do not forget to visit the gym, which has a treadmill, bicycle, and freestanding weights. Chess table & library: And in case you run out of activities, there is always a chess table and a library to keep you occupied. Pool area: Once you take the elevator and reach the upper floor, you cannot help but gaze at this jaw-dropping view. This is where you will find the 16*5 m infinity pool. Dining areas, bar, living rooms and kitchen: One thing is sure: you will not run out of space to chill and mingle at the villa. In total, there are three different areas where one can sit and stare at the view while enjoying a glass of cold Chardonnay and some tasty Indonesian or Western food. Next to the pool, there is a bar—perfect for one too many cocktails—and two living room areas. Yes, both have the 180-degree view of Jimbaran we have been talking about. The bar is fully equipped with a mini fridge, sink, glasses, and three stools. In an enclosed air-conditioned space, you can enjoy a tasty meal at the 12pax dining area with glass doors overlooking the pool. Next door you will find the fully equipped kitchen (with coffee machine, oven, 2 fridges, toaster, rice cooker, stove, water dispenser even a washing machine – not that common in Bali – and the list goes on). The villa offers a chef at extra cost, as well as cooking classes. Feel free to experiment with Indonesian cuisine either on your own or with the help of the professionals. At the other end of the villa lies yet another lounge space with two corner sofas and a 6pax dining table. There is also a guest toilet. The huge garden and grass area: The villa is surrounded by a huge garden and grass area perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunset. There is also a shaded sitting space. The bedrooms: There are 6 bedrooms in total: three with king-size beds, one with queen-size beds, and two with twin beds each. The master bedroom is a masterpiece of its own and consists of two rooms. Hurry to pick this gem once you arrive at the villa. It has a private office space and lounge area, but that’s not all. As you walk to your private bedroom, you will face yet another office space and a comfy sofa overlooking the Jimbaran area. Did we mention there is a plunge pool and a bathtub with the best view in the house? Each bedroom is named and themed after an area of Indonesia: Bali, Sumba, West Java, East Java, Lombok, and Sumatra. For more information about Indonesia's wonderful culture, you can look at the guest book on the office desk of each room, which has information on the different ornaments and materials and how they are linked to each part of Indonesia. Needless to say that every bedroom has office space, private lounge area, safety deposit box, hair dryer, AC, en-suite bathroom and private balcony. Most bedrooms also feature day beds and walk in closets – while all bedrooms have closet space. Most en-suite bathrooms have 2 sinks and freestanding bathtubs (in addition to the shower). Interesting details: The en-suite bathroom of the Sumba bedroom has Onyx decorated mirrors and Onyx sinks.

The villa is located in Jimbaran and gets the best of both worlds: both Jimbaran and Nusa Dua. 10 minutes from the villa, you will find two of our favourite less touristy beaches, with white sand and clear blue waters. These are Melasti and Pandawa beaches. In contrast to most beaches in Bali, these beaches are kid friendly as they rarely have waves. Stay until sunset and watch the famous kecak dance at Melasti beach (insider tip: it will be much less crowded than the kecak dance performed at Uluwatu temple).
In terms of food, apart from the Jimbaran fish restaurants (see below) we definitely suggest: 1) Cuca for some serious tapas style food. Do try the honey-baked pumpkin salad, the smoked butterfish and the BBQ octopus and house cocktails 2) Sundara elegant beach club with luxe ocean views, a zero waste cocktail list and high end BBQ 3) Kisik Lounge & Seafood Restaurant mimicking a sea food market with oh-what-a-beach-view 4) Nelayan restaurant with its chic boho beach shack and its fusion of Mediterranean and Balinese cuisine. Whatever you do, do visit Samasta Lifestyle Village, an open space shopping mall with so much more to offer than a traditional Western mall. We are just saying family-friendly cafes, outdoor kiosks, and 17 outlets…
Jimbaran beach, also close by, with its famous fish market and fish restaurants by the beach is not to be missed. Here you will eat the freshest fish in Bali, often accompanied with traditional dancing. The fish restaurants by the beach are definitely touristic and a bit pricey but we promise you it is all worth it. For the braver ones, you can also select fresh fish, lobster and crabs and eat it at the fish market with your bare hands. They cook it for you on the spot and they put some delicious – often spicy – sauces on top.
GWK cultural park is definitely worth a visit. Here you will find the second tallest statue in the world. The Statue of Lord Vishnu riding the mythical bird Garuda is measured at a majestic height of 121 metres. To put this into perspective, New York’s Statue of Liberty stands at 93 metres. As well as the tallest statue in the world, GWK Park features different venues such as the Lotus Pond, Plaza Garuda presided over by the immense statue of Garuda, and Plaza Wisnu, amongst others. The Cultural Park also hosts various Balinese performances and restaurants. You can easily spend a day here if you wish to.
And if you are looking for an adrenaline boost, paragliding at Gunung Payung cliff and watersports at Nusa Dua (Tanjung Benoa beach) are both quite near. Water activities range from the more mainstream banana boat, roulette doughnut and snorkeling, to the more adventurous fly boarding, parasailing, jet skiing, wake boarding and water skiing. A relatively new toy is fly boarding where you can fly up to 10 metres from the sea while throwing some tricks to impress your friends. The best part? It is quite easy to do as it comes as naturally as walking. Another interesting one is the seawalker where you wear astronaut- like gear and literally walk on the bottom of the sea. In contrast to scuba diving (also available), you do not need any previous practice/knowledge. Tanjung Benoa is definitely the place to go if you are looking to spend your day doing watersports.

Concept store including bar, restaurant as well as surf board & clothing store with live music every Sunday • La Baracca: one of the best pizzas in Bali, two restaurants located both in Berawa and Batu Bolong • Crate Café : highly recommended for brunch • Casa Tua Canggu: Indonesian food, nice ambience, mainly for dinner • Warung Bumi: Cheap Indonesian food, mainly for lunch • Monsieur Spoon: French bakery, also nice for brunch • Lacalita Bar: towards the beach of Batu Bolong, Mexican food and music • Old Man’s: bar overlooking Batu Bolong beach with live music every Friday and where you can also eat fast food type food • The Lawn: all day beach bar that also offer dinner. Located between Batu Bolong and Old Man’s beach. Expect Western pricing • Shady Shack: located on the tiny road behind Deus, vegetarian menu, mixture of Indonesian and International cuisine • Veda: value for money organic food, mixture of Indonesian and international cuisine Echo Beach: Do treat yourself to a Gaya ice cream – local ice-cream with interesting flavours made in Ubud. • La Brisa beach bar at Echo beach offers all day long relaxation by the beach, some yummy food and is known for its parties. • For the young at heart, I always suggest a not so lazy Sunday outing that starts with a dinner and continues at Deus that offers live music every Sunday. Jalan Subak Canggu: rice field road that connects Batu Bolong & Berawa Beach: • Pretty poison: alternative bar with skate rump and live music once per week for a younger audience. Also on selected days there is movie projection • Lola’s cantina Mexicana is a must for some tacos and margharitas. Order a cocktail and get a taco for free. Jalan Pantai Berawa: • Atlas: biggest beach club in Southeast Asia opened in July 2022 its doors in Berawa • Finns: by Berawa beach, beach bar restaurant with pool, quite noisy, good if you are in a party mood • Milk & Madu: great pizzas and food in general. An all-day option from breakfast to dinner. Also has playground for kids. • Milu by Nook: best ambience, Western-Indo menu, ‘Tuna Poke Bowl’ is definitely one of the best picks. Very nice place for a romantic dinner that offers value for money food. • Peloton: vegan place nice for brunch and lunch, closed for dinner • Batu Beats: healthy bowls for brunch, lunch and dinner • Hungry Bird: value for money brunch and best coffee in Bali. Hungry Bird is closed every Sunday • Dua Tiga: Looks small on the outside but is huge on the inside. An industrial style restaurant that offers Western, Indo and Vietnamese cuisine. Has also some very yummy smoothie bowls. • Ruko café: near Berawa beach, recommended for brunch • Warung Heboh: Cheap Indonesian food, recommended for lunch • Berawa Kitchen: opposite hungry bird, a grass area surrounded by canteens that sell different types of food to please all tastes from hot dogs to Indonesian food • Satu-Satu Coffee Company: value for money brunch and lunch For massages I would recommend: • Tonic day spa at Echo Beach: best pick for a nice massage. Do check the flamingo garden. • Therapy at Echo Beach – also nail polish available • The massage place at Hotel Kirana at Jalan Batu Bolong • Maria Curau: for massage & vegan nail polish (Jl. Munduk Kedungu No.45, Pererenan) Apart from the above there are plenty of massage places in Canggu, while generally massages are quite cheap. Pricing starts at 150.000 IDR (around 10 euros) for one hour. For surfing: If you are interested in surf lessons we have our own surf school. For more information, please check surfisupbali. We offer private and semi-private lessons. For yoga I would recommend: • Samadi at Jalan Padang Linjong (road that leads to Echo Beach) • The Practice: my very favourite at Jalan Batu Bolong • Desaseni at Jl. Subak Sari No.13. Apart from yoga, Desaseni offers massage, accommodation and food • Serenity at Jl. Nelayan, Canggu Kids activities: • Made’s Warung in Berawa: Best place for kids. There is a large outdoor and indoor playground. The outdoor playground is free of charge, while the indoor playgroup has a minor cost per hour. Food is decent and there is a kids menu. • Parklife: just off Canggu, relatively new place. We love this place for kids, there is both an indoor and outdoor playground. There is an entry fee but price is decent. The place also offers a restaurant with kids menu. • Milk & Madu: Has a kid menu and a small but nice playground for kids • Dua Tiga: Similar to Milk & Madu the place offers a small playground and also has kids menu • Tamora Square: There is a free playground where kids can play. Parents can have lunch or dinner in one of the restaurants there e.g. Ink, while kids can play at the playground. The place also offers a mini skate ramp for kids. • Finns Recreation Club has plenty of activities for kids including a water park, bounce castle & trampolines, bowling, swimming pool, tennis and football court. Please note that it is a bit pricey. Canggu club also organises play groups Play groups are also organised by various kindergardens in Canggu such as the The Garden (Early Learning Centre) and Alam Atelier. Expect Western pricing.
