This is a great villa if you are looking for a base to explore Puglia: it is about an hours drive from everything: however it is located in a residential area and you will need a car to get to the nearest cafe, restaurant etc. Martina Franca and the nearest supermarket is a speedy 6 minute drive away. The villa is very stylish and the pool area relaxing and quiet. We were travelling with 2 year old twins and a set of grandparents so found the 2 sets of steep steps up to the pool area a bit tricky to navigate without gates or handrails. We also weren't keen on feeding the local cats as requested during check in, but that is personal preference. Overall, communicating with Claudia, the housekeeper was easy and efficient.

Haus, Pool und Umgebung waren perfekt. Wir fühlten uns sofort wie zu Hause. Claudia war sehr nett, sie hat sich um alle Hausangelegenheiten gekümmert. Das Haus ist perfekt gesichert und hat sogar eine Alarmanlage. Das Trulli liegt bei Maria Franca und alle Dörfer im "Valle d'Itria" sind schnell mit dem Auto zu erreichen. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage was bei grosser Hitze etwas fehlte, jedoch befindet sich in jedem Zimmer ein Ventilator. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Urlaub in einem sehr schönen und gepflegten Trulli. Wir hoffen, dass wir eine Gelegenheit finden werden um zurückzukehren.

We had a super stay at Trullo Gemma. We had some issus getting there using the cars navigationsystem, but the housekeeper Claudia responded immediatly and guided us the right way when we called. We arrived late and was welcomed by Claudia. She was very welcoming and showed us all the need-to-know about the house. The house itself was better than expected and have everything you need (towels, soap, bedlinnens etc). We were also welcomed with a bottle of vine and some snacks. The pool was clean and a good size for a familiy of 6. The location of the house is perfect for exploring Martina Franca and the surrounding villages and beaches. You will reach each coast within a 35-40min drive. We spent alot of our time at the pool and with the house because of warm days and had a perfect stay. We higly recommend Guiliana as host and the house itself. Claudia was also a perfect point of contact who responded quickly and friendly when there were any questions from our side. We hope to come back

The villa possesses exquisite beauty and enjoys an advantageous location, allowing easy access to other cities that hold considerable attractions. Interacting with both Giulia and Claudia was delightful, and Claudia kindly extended the offer to prepare a meal for us due to the closure of shops on Sundays. I highly recommend this place, although it is imperative to have a car.
