<p>Nestled in the village of Exbourne on the outskirts of Dartmoor National Park, this delightful, thatched barn conversion offers a peaceful holiday retreat. Conveniently located just 6.5 miles away from the market town of Okehampton which offers a variety of amenities, including shops, takeaways, and supermarkets. Keen walkers or cyclists will be in their element with Dartmoor on the doorstep providing a plethora of walks and trails suitable for all abilities. Easy proximity to the A30 makes it effortless to reach the stunning cathedral city of Exeter, just 20 miles away. Exeter boasts a diverse range of restaurants and a multitude of shopping opportunities. Furthermore, there are several attractions within a 20-mile radius, including Lydford Gorge, Roadford Lake, Meldon Reservoir and Viaduct, Okehampton Castle, the Miniature Pony Centre, and Crealy Adventure Park.</p> <p>This mid-terrace thatched barn offers a high standard of accommodation and has been furnished and equipped with an eclectic yet thoughtful mix of styles, creating an interesting and original place to stay. The wooden floors throughout the ground floor make it ideal for guests with dogs and the electric heating makes it toasty at any time of year. Stepping into the barn you find yourself in the large open-plan lounge kitchen diner well furnished and equipped with everything you could possibly need, sumptuous comfy sofas, Smart TV, books, puzzles, and games. A dining table and chairs makes mealtimes a breeze and the well fitted and equipped kitchen has everything you could possibly need to cater for your stay. A utility room/boot room houses the washing machine and there is a handy cloakroom with WC. Heading up the beautiful wooden staircase to the first floor which has exposed beams and many character features, you will find two bedrooms, one king-size and one twin room. The bathroom completes the accommodation and has a free-standing bath with shower over the bath.</p> <p>Outside at the rear is a small courtyard area with seating and a gateway leading to 5 acres of grounds which are ideal for exploring and which dogs will love – and you may well bump into the owner and his dogs whilst enjoying their morning stroll.
