Unwind at The Guest House at Constant Chaos Farm. This quaint house features modern decor with the characteristics of an old home originally built in the 1800s. Enjoy beautiful countryside views from the front porch, stretch your legs with a hike in the woods, and relax in the evening around the firepit. The house is situated in the middle of our sheep farm where you can enjoy the sights and sounds of farm life without the farm chores. Rose Valley Animal Park is only a six-minute drive away. The house has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and a large closet. The smaller bedroom has a twin bed the converts into a king bed. It also has a desk with outlets and a mirror, that can be used as a work space for your laptop or as a vanity for getting ready. This room's closet is actually located in the hall, but has plenty of room for hangers and shelves for storage. The smaller bedroom does have low ceilings. Both bedrooms have extra blankets, pillows, and box fans (for air or white noise). One bathroom is available with tub. We provide a sample of basic toiletries for each guest, but feel free to bring your own. Ample towels and linens are available. The kitchen is cozy and has plenty of storage, stovetop/oven, freezer, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, mixer, Keurig coffee maker. Basic kitchen utensils, plates, cookware are also available. The dining room has a table with four chairs. There is an additional chair in the closet and another chair can be pulled from the small bedroom desk to make the table seat six. There is a large storage closet in the dining room, with a place to hang coats, a boot tray for your shoes, and the rest is fairly empty for your storage needs. The living room has a large wall-mounted smart TV. Feel free to log into your favorite streaming services. There is a large sleeper sofa and two chairs for seating. Throw blankets are available for cozy movie nights on the couch. There are books, board games, puzzles, and card games available. There is even an old-school landline phone available in the event that cell towers are down. There is a small laundry room off of the kitchen. It has a washer and dryer, as well as an iron and ironing board. A small sample of laundry detergent and fabric softener is available. Please feel free to bring your own if you like or if you will be staying an extended period of time. The front porch has seating for six. "Michael" is one of our many farm cats that likes to frequent the guest house. He's a grey tabby cat, and quite friendly. If you are allergic or don't like cats, just shoo him away and he'll go home through the fields. But, if you pet him he will be your best friend. Please do not take him home with you, let him in the house, or feed him. The house is located on a working farm. You may see or hear animals or farm equipment, depending on the season and the weather. There may or may not be sheep/goats in the field right behind the house. You may see a person enter the yard to feed or water (using the hose attached to the house) the animals. We will try to be quick and discreet as to not disturb your privacy during your stay, but we must still care for our animals. Some of the animals are friendly and may accept a scratch under the chin. Please refrain from feeding them anything. Do not open the gate or enter the field. We also have a firepit available for use.
