Kevin's charming home in the woods was the perfect getaway for a night, offering a serene escape with its hot tub, fire pit, and riverside kayaking. The house was incredibly clean and modern, so much so that we didn't want to leave. We enjoyed soaking in the hot tub under the stars and relaxing by the fire pit, making our stay truly unforgettable. Kevin was a fantastic host, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable visit. Highly recommended!

This property is a welcome addition to the Hiram area. We frequently use AirB&B when we travel there for family functions and Kevin's place was a welcome surprise. He has cutting edge tech throughout the house and huge TV screens in each room. TV, however, was not what we enjoyed the most. Being literally at river's edge, the view from the house, the hot tub and the canoe and kayaks of the Cuyahoga River were beautiful. Big pluses for us were room darkening shades which let our 7 year-old sleep in later than dawn. While it is not the least expensive property in the area, it has superior amenities and host attention. Definitely will think about renting this property again on our next trip. I have a feeling it will be booked solid for many years to come.

Well equipped and beautiful home …the layout of 2 large bedrooms ( one w pull out Murphy bed) and their own bathrooms was wonderful. The hot tub was awesome. This stretch of the cuyahoga river is serene and peaceful for kayak and canoe. Wonderful relaxing time!!

We really enjoyed the kayaks and river and loved spending time in the hot tub, the house was clean loved the smallness and yet we had our own bathroom and privacy.

“Crooked River” House at Hiram lives up to the high standard Kevin has established for his properties. The exterior blends in with the campy neighborhood, while the interior has a contemporary look and feel. Both bedrooms boast large window views of the river. One even has a cool Murphy bed. The bathrooms have well-lit vanities with dual sinks and walk-in showers with adjustable heads. The kitchen has everything you need for meal prep during your stay. The living room and both bedrooms have large smart TVs for enjoying your favorite streaming service. A covered deck features a Weber gas grill. The partly enclosed pavilion has a relaxing hot tub and dining area, as well as three kayaks and one canoe. The property is less than 1 river mile from the White Oaks Access, making for an easy 15-minute paddle from the house to the landing. At the end of the day, spark a flame in the fire ring and enjoy an evening under the stars, wishing you had a few more days to enjoy “Crooked River” House.
