We chose this property as we were looking to stay somewhere close to Beamish Museum. We also required somewhere suitable for a family with children. The property stood out online as having a luxurious appearance, and did not disappoint. Our host was flexible over our check-in time. On arrival, we were greeted by a stunning property. A lot of consideration has gone into the furnishing of this property. The beds were all extremely comfortable and there were plenty of soft towels for each of us. Each bathroom has a supply of shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. The en-suite shower and main bathroom shower were both great. The latter having the option of a regular shower or rainfall shower. The garden is set up for families to relax in - a large space with outside furniture and plenty of things to occupy the children, including a large climbing frame with swings. I honestly feel that I could go on and on about how good our stay was! I would thoroughly recommend a stay at this property.

Jane’s place was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family stay just outside of Durham. Not only was the house lovely, but all of Jane’s furniture, decor and utensils were of a really high quality. Jane went above beyond in terms of having lovely fluffy towels on every bed, coffee pods for the coffee machine and washing machine and dishwasher tablets to make our stay as convenient as possible. Thank you Jane for such a fabulous stay.

Had a fantastic short stay at this property. The property itself was impeccable, well equipped and excellent for young families as it had everything we needed for our short stay.. The communication from the host was excellent and very prompt and gave excellent tips on places to visit. The property was very easy to find and great location. In a new housing complex. Inside the property was like a show house. Absolutely stunning and very well equipped with everything needed for a short break, with great mattresses and nice powerful showers. There was lovely diffusers throughout and made the property smell and feel very homely. We are currently planning to come back to the area and will definitely be hoping this property is available as we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend Absolutely no faults or problems A well deserved 5 stars ***** Thank you .
