Welcome to St Helens Cottage, a sweet, warm and inviting vintage-but-modern home featuring 2 bedrooms (king, queen) and 1 bathroom. DOWNTOWN LOCATION You are a mere 2 blocks from everything downtown...some of Bend's finest restaurants, breweries and entertainment. Take an easy stroll into the very heart of downtown Bend, the Old Mill or the Deschutes River. The best of the westside of Bend and the Old Mill is so walkable from this charm-soaked home. The westside of Bend features favorites like 10 Barrel Brewing, Ariana's, The Victorian Café and many more shops and eateries. The Old Mill is home to Bend’s largest cinema, riverfront dining, and shopping galore. Walkscore of 86...hard to find anything closer! Set up and back from a quiet residential street just 2 blocks from downtown Bend you will love exploring both the inside and outdoor spaces of this charming and generous home. The huge front yard is perfectly suited to relaxing in the sun. Don’t miss the gas BBQ for your summer grilling. SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS The 2 bedroom are on either ends of the home. Both beds feature high thread count linens with European style bedding. You'll find extra blankets and pillows in the home as well. The spacious king bedroom is bright and inviting with shaded south facing windows. The king bedroom also has a private workspace and a very generously sized closet. The queen bedroom is on the other side of the home in the sun room. It is private and insulated with 2 layers of custom blinds and A/C provided year round. WIFI and TV Free 300+ MBPS internet and 3 smart TVs. There is a TV in each bedroom and in the living room. Each of the smart TVs has ROKU Live TV with 350+ free channels. You can also access all your own streaming subscriptions. OUTDOORS and PET FRIENDLY The front yard is park-like and perfect for play and lounging. For kids and pups, please be aware that the fence is 3-4 feet tall in places. Escape artists will have no problem getting free! We do ask you to be whisper quiet in the yard after 10pm. PARKING Private off-street parking for 1 standard sized vehicle. This home has a shared driveway so it will be very important to not block the neighbor's access. This part of the Old Bend neighborhood requires permits for on street parking in front of the home. You are welcome to park on the street if you have a 2nd vehicle and we'll provide you with 1 permit to do so. THE NEIGHBORHOOD The neighborhood is quaint, quiet and absolutely adorable. Please remember to respect all our neighbors during your stay and observe all Bend's Good Neighbor Guidelines. Please observe all parking instructions and quiet hours between 10pm and 8am. Great stay! Perfect location for walking everywhere we needed to go in Bend
By far the best AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Diana was an absolute SUPER HOST - communicative, attentive, responsive, super helpful and kind. The place itself was immaculate! Brand new appliances, furniture, bedding, dishes, fully stocked with kitchen and bathroom amenities - spotless and perfected with everything you'd want when selecting an AirBnB. The yard was beautiful with enough space to hang out and BBQ. The bedrooms in the house are spaced out so you never felt cramped. The kitchen was stunning and the perfect hangout with a big island. Truly can't get over how perfect this place was - we will absolutely be back! We're hoping Diana's place will become a tradition to stay at whenever we come visit Bend! Thank you, Diana!!

Perfect place to stay when exploring Bend. Quick and easy to walk to restaurants, breweries and downtown, clean, beautiful place with a great yard and amenities.
What a wonderful hideaway in the middle of downtown Bend! The place itself was immaculate and well stocked. We loved the outdoor seating areas. The rooms were clean and the home was well stocked with all that we needed. Best of all your space is so centralized we were just a few blocks from downtown. We can't wait to come and stay again.

Hello from a Pacific Northwest! I'm a PNW native and have lived in Bend for the past decade plus. Like most of us, I love travel and experiencing other places and cultures. I've been lucky enough to live in Latin America, SE Asia and Europe for months at a time. I'm a physical therapist but have pivoted to take care of these Bend homes full time. Creating amazing Airbnb experiences takes a lot of work and intention. And I want you to have an amazing local experience in Bend! My favorite travels have been the ones where I felt like part of the community. When I could stay a while and find a favorite taco shop, noodle stand and share an experience with a local. Things like staying with the nuns in Italy. Going to night markets with family in Taiwan. Practicing French with my Airbnb hosts in Paris. Daily visits to the woman with an orange juice stand in Guatemala. Traveling for hours in the back of a truck with locals in Cambodia. Even those pickpockets that almost got my wallet in Peru. These shared experiences, joyful and stressful both, have made my travel adventures sparkle. I hope we can help you find the joyful sparkle in your Bend travels! When you visit Bend and stay in our downtown neighborhoods, you'll see the best parts of Bend. People are friendly here and love to give a smile and a wave. My favorites change with the seasons... Mountain biking, hikes and river floats dominate in the summer. Winter is all about snow, skate skiing and getting some tele turns in.
