Stunning new large walk-in shower with separate washstand and a further separate cloakroom. Large wall-mounted Smart TV with Sonos speakers and sound bar. Optical Fibre fast broadband. Large private garden with 2 seating areas and a BBQ. One dog allowed to stay, provided it stays on the ground floor and is not permitted in bedrooms. Please note there is a small charge for this. Ground Floor Entrance to the property is on the ground floor of the building via a communal hall. This floor contains the lounge and kitchen/diner. The lounge décor reflects a classic Georgian elegance and is beautifully appointed with a 3-seater sofa, a couple occasional chairs, two lovely alcoves either side of the decorative fireplace, and contains bespoke shelving and storage. The Smart TV is mounted above the fireplace and comes complete with a sound bar and wireless Sonos speakers for movie nights in. Two large windows are on street level with views of the surrounding architecture, kept with partially frosted windows and adjustable shutters to ensure privacy. Across the hall is a fully stocked kitchen with views over your private garden and beyond. A dining table with 4 chairs is positioned near the window. The kitchen is fully fitted with a large fridge and separate freezer, small dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave, induction hob, single oven and a Roberts DAB radio set. Additionally, for coffee enthusiasts, there is a Nespresso coffee machine. A corner cupboard houses the boiler and other household items. The property is close to town where you can find a huge variety of restaurants, however, should you decide to dine in, then you can be assured the cupboards are filled with everything you need to cook a fabulous meal. A few steps down, leads to another small half-landing, which will take you out to your private town-house garden. There are 2 tables with chairs and a BBQ for al fresco dining, and a paved path leading to the rear of the garden with a further sunny seating area Lower Ground Floor This floor has been wonderfully re-designed to incorporate a large walk-in shower, separate marble washstand as well as cloakroom with w.c. and sink. All stylishly presented in dark tones, elegant brass fittings with tiled with underfloor heating for your utmost comfort. The master bedroom is located at the back of the property overlooking the garden, allowing for a peaceful good night sleep There is a 5' king size bed, bedside tables, hanging clothes rack and a large chest of drawers. In the hallway outside this bedroom you will find a wardrobe for additional storage. Bedroom 2 is located at the front of the property. The bed can be made up for your stay as either a 5' king bed or 2 singles which are 2'6” wide, so best suited for children, but can also accommodate adults. Similar to the master bedroom, there are bedside tables, a tall chest of drawers and hanging wall rack. The windows have been frosted to give complete privacy to the room. Both bedrooms have premium beds, mattresses, and hotel quality linens for the ultimate comfort and relaxation.
The property is a wow! property. The decor, color, furnishings, paintings, fittings (victorian brass look - incl the pasta/tea strainers) provide the period look yet the amenities are all modern. As we were among the first ones, everything felt nice and new. Decent wifi, large TV, Apple TV, Sonos speakers, remote controlled LED fireplace and candles, barbecue kit - all top notch. The vintage kitchen furniture juxtaposed with modern amenities was done nicely. And a yard/garden too - though rains denied us the oppty to enjoy the yard. Sainsbury is 2 mins walk away. Since it is Bath - every place is walkable. Great, silent locality! Team is very responsive. Upon reserving, they send a mobile webapp with instructions for everything including places of interest, wifi, key dropoff, trash etc. They had fresh milk in the fridge for us and a nice touch was cookies and fudge from a top rated place in Bath. Fantastic team, and a wonderful property - can't recommend it enough!
Location The property is located within just a 5-minute walk of the Bath centre, where you will find a vast array of restaurants, museums, shops, boutiques, theatres, tourist attractions and bars. The iconic Royal Crescent Gardens and a peaceful, family friendly Victoria Park are close by with tennis courts, botanical gardens, beach bar in the summer, outdoor children's playground and hot air ballooning.
For those arriving by car they will find Charlotte Street car park within a few minute walk. The Bath Spa train and coach stations are a 10-minute walk away or a short taxi trip. There is a large Sainsbury's supermarket just around the corner. Everything you need is within walking distance, and offers a blend of convenience and variety for your Bath stay.
