This two-story home offers quick access to mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking, and cycling. The slopes at Stowe Mountain Resort are within a quick drive. After a thrilling day of explorations, return home to barbecue burgers on the deck. The dreamy backyard offers a sprawling recreation space. A deck with a gas grill and alfresco dining set the scene for home cookouts. A sectional surrounds the smart TV in the welcoming living area. Watch a movie on Apple TV, select a book from the library, or play a tune on the piano. Get the wood-burning fireplace crackling for extra ambiance. Prepare favorite meals in the spacious kitchen, which features upscale appliances like a gas range. Ample granite counter space and a second sink make meal prep a breeze. When you’re ready to eat, gather at the dining table, or perch at the bar. Big windows overlook the lush lawn in the primary suite, which offers a king bed, smart TV, and private deck. The en-suite bathroom is configured with a double vanity and a steam walk-in shower. Comfort awaits in the second suite, which features a queen bed, smart TV, and an en-suite half bath. Another queen bed and smart TV can be found in the third bedroom; the fourth bedroom includes two twin-over-twin bunk beds; and the fifth bedroom has two twin beds. Two guest bathrooms both have a tub/shower combination. Added perks include complimentary WiFi, a washer/dryer, and firewood is provided for the living area fireplace. Drive just eight minutes to Stowe Mountain Resort for a fun-filled day of downhill skiing and snowboarding. In warmer months, cycle the popular 5-mile Stowe Recreation Path. The access point at Thompson Park is within half a mile. Hiking at Moss Glen Falls is also an easy 15-minute drive. <b>Things to Know</b> Check-in time: 4:00 PM Check-out time: 10:00 AM All guests shall abide by Vacasa's good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. No dog(s) are welcome in this home. No other animals are allowed without specific Vacasa approval. <br/>Parking notes: There is free parking available for 6 vehicles. <br/>Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximun occupancy and quite hours. This technology is privacy compliant, and only monitors the presence of decibels and devices -not any personal conversation or information. Large great room with two couches, tv and dining table. There is also a piano. Very well equipped kitchen with pots, pans, silverware, utensils, roasting pans for use in the oven, a toaster, toaster oven, tea kettle, coffee pot, plenty of serving dishes and plates. Three full baths were great with two downstairs. The second bedroom upstairs has a half bathroom. Comfortable beds, excellent clothes washer and dryer. Lots of parking, plus a two car garage. When it snowed someone plowed the driveway and did the walk up to the house which was fantastic. They also promptly plowed the street to allow for easy access up and down the hill to the home. The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The host team was extremely responsive to very simple maintenance requests at the beginning of our stay.
Shabby house that is poorly maintained and obviously overly rented. Burnt out bulbs in many lamps with no replacements, closets with no hangers, barely any paper products or cleaning supplies, dead bugs all over the floor in master bedroom, dirty casserole dish in oven, half filled hot tub with no instructions, poorly repaired, if at all, walls, doors etc. The living room lacks comfortable seating around fireplace and the downstairs shower was broken and when reported was never fixed. Do not believe the pictures, I would be embarrassed to rent a house in this condition, no less ask the ridiculously excessive price tag they get away with receiving just because it is in Stowe!
