The lake house was lovely and very comfortable. We enjoyed being on the lake and Ryan was an amazing host! The kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals, which was super helpful.

Great week spent at the lake. Ryan’s house offers great lake access (we rented a pontoon boat from an offsite vendor who delivered), excellent fishing (most stocked lake ever? My older son caught at least 25 fish), and terrific outdoor spaces overall. We made use of the provided kayaks regularly. The beach is rocky but the kids loved exploring and critter hunting just the same. The water is crystal clear. Good for a family or two smaller families. One gripe was the house was apparently finishing a reservation and two bedrooms didn’t have curtains yet, which I think they are planning to add. That’s def a must have go forward (or else bring an eye mask which we were fortunate to have already!) but apart from that a great place and a nice week at the lake.

We felt like we were staying at a good family friend's cabin with all the charm (vintage furniture and books but nothing too personal) and none of the hassle. We loved the eclectic vibe and updated kitchen. The craftsmanship and thoughtfulness of the renovations really showed and the entire place was immaculately clean. Our kids were fine swimming off the dock but note there isn't much beach and the lake bottom near the shore is extremely rocky though the water is amazingly clear. Overall, a great stay.
